For Sale: Ruger Mk III. 22/45 Lite - Custom Target - Many Upgrades
Price Reduced from $800 to $650
Silencer Ready - Has Threaded Barrel
This is a Ruger Mk III. 22/45 Lite and was carefully put together for accuracy and fun target shooting. The trigger is superb and sharp with a 1 lb 14 oz pull. The gun has less than a brick of target ammo thru it and there are no marks and looks and performs like new, I have a total
of $1,077 in it and probably a bit more. See List. The Majestic Arms Speed strip kit is probably one of the most useful additions, now you can easily take the bolt out and clean barrel and chamber easily.
Buyer can use as is or modify it for their target purpose, you can also take target grips off and and the scope comes off and use the Ruger factory sights for hunting is desired.

This is the work that Douglass Hermann performed, he is a master gunsmith. My cost for this work was $150, plus parts.
1] Added strut and pin on new hammer provided from existing older parts.
2] Polished and correctly fit bushing in the Voltquartsen hammer.
3] Volquartsen hammer recontoured to be used with the quick takedown pin.
4] Installed lower weight mainspring for the hammer
6] Installed replacement for the loaded round indicator and fit it to exact size in frame. Put blue locktite on screw.
7] Polished pivot pins for hammer and sear.
8] Polished feedramp and bolt channel in upper.
9] Put slight chamfer on face of barrel chamber to remove burrs.
10] Fitted and polished sear spring to allow proper use.
11] Installed smaller set screw in trigger for overtravel. Adjusted takeup and overtravel to proper for pistol and used blue loctight to fix in place.
12] Function tested pull weight with Volquartsen does about 1 lb 14 oz Trigger pull.
13] Cleaned gun thoroughly, used graphite oil on slide spring and Teflon dry lube on all other critical friction surfaces.
14] Locktighted front sight screw found loose using blue formula.
15] Function tested final gun by firing ammo provided, ncluding making sure the safety, magazine release, magazine hold back function on last round fired were all working properly.
The gun will come with Ruger manual and paperwork for various parts. Two Clips are included along with an aluminum case. I also have separately 3 bricks of Norma Tac 22 ammo, this is made by RWS in Germany for Norma.
